CRUEL DELIGHT

This poster is designed to promote an event at Water and Wine, Poblacion, Makati, targeting adults and working-class individuals.

It seeks to challenge and expand our perception of the body and the world around us. The feet symbolize positive engagement with our physical selves—through enjoyment, celebration, and festivity. Embracing both body and mind on your own terms, free from objectification or external control, can be a transformative experience—one that grants full ownership of pleasure and time.

The title “Cruel Delight” alludes to the pleasure derived from inflicting or witnessing pain, harm, or distress. It evokes a sense of sadistic satisfaction. In contrast, the wine placed prominently at the center of the composition represents calmness and indulgence, suggesting how serenity and darkness can coexist within a single moment of desire.
